Spring into Action with Auburn On-Demand Transportation Service!
Flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing, and spring is in the air! There’s never been a better time to get out and explore our beautiful Placer County community. A new service has also sprung up in the area to help you enjoy the outdoors and drinks with friends in a delightfully safe and enjoyable way… Auburn On-Demand Transportation Service!
Wineries and Breweries in Auburn
The Sierra Nevada foothills are filled with some of the best breweries and wineries in the North State, and many offer tastings, tours, or even full scale restaurants on property that you can visit. An outdoor date with friends to enjoy the beautiful spring weather and sample delightful local wines and beers in the foothills is the perfect way to celebrate the changing of seasons.
Instead of having to rely on finding taxis or other ride sharing services like Lyft and Uber in the small community of Auburn, the City has created a safe, dependable, and extremely cost-effective ride sharing service. With Auburn On-Demand you don’t have to worry about someone in your party being the designated driver when visiting local wineries and breweries in Auburn.
The Auburn On-Demand transit bus is stylish and comfortable. It can both take you to and pick you up from any of the popular wineries in the area whether you want to visit Vina Castellano Winery, the Mount Vernon Winery, the Paza Estate Winery, Lone Buffalo Vineyards, or any of the other award-winning wineries in the Auburn foothills.
The Auburn area is also famous for many popular beer breweries including the Knee Deep Brewing Company, Crooked Lane Brewing Company, and Moonraker Brewing. Grab a few beers and don’t worry about who is driving home. With the Auburn On-Demand transit service operated by the city, you now have a safe and reliable way to get home. Sample the breweries’ famous IPA’s or or have a picnic at the local wineries knowing you have a dependable ride home!
The Auburn On-Demand Transit Service now offers on demand bus service from 6 AM to 8 PM on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can take this city ride-share service Thursdays through Saturdays from 6 AM to 11 PM.
Don’t Stress About Parking
Another perk of the Auburn On-Demand city operated rideshare service is the easy access to Auburn’s Downtown and Old Town areas. If you’ve ever visited those areas, you might remember that parking can sometimes be difficult with few parallel spaces and parking lots especially in the Old Town area. With Auburn On-Demand you can now experience a much less stressful and more convenient way to visit the downtown shops, restaurants, and breweries without worrying about parking.
Instead of dealing with traffic, paying for parking, or trying to find a parking spot close to the area you’d like to visit, you can save time and transportation costs by taking the Auburn On- Demand transit. The rideshare service is extremely affordable with each ride costing just $3.50.
With rapidly rising gas prices this is an especially good way to save money on transportation, not to mention wear and tear and mileage on your vehicle. Each ride can be individually paid for on the TransLoc app, or you can simply pay in cash when you board the comfortable bus.
Easy Ride Share Summoning
Simple to set up, and you can start by downloading the TransLoc app. Sign up using your first name, phone number, email, and password, set up your account, and then book your trip! Once you’ve made sure your origin is correct, you can select your destination and request your on-demand pick up. Paying for the trip is easy through the app using either a debit or credit card. If you’d prefer to pay in cash, you can pay the driver when you board the vehicle.
Don’t have a smartphone? Not to worry! You can call (530) 906–3171 to schedule your ride with the Auburn On-Demand Service. Passes and transfers are not accepted, and transferring from the Auburn loop bus to Auburn On-Demand requires that you purchase a fare.
